On the heights of Val-de-Moder (Hill circuit): 18 kilometers from Haguenau

Between hills, vineyards, forests and orchards, this circuit offers you unique views. The Val-de-Moder unfolds its landscapes for you, during a pleasant walk full of discoveries! You may be lucky enough to observe a Magnificent sunset, breathtaking !

On the route you will come across an old vineyard shelter. At Geiersberg, take a seat on the Napoleonic bench in Vosges sandstone to savor the panorama at 261 meters above sea level: the Haguenau forest and the Outer Forest are part of the decor. Then, on the heights of Morschwiller, you will again dominate the plain of Alsace, the view extends from the northern Vosges to the Black Forest.

This hike is ideal for discover a hilly area from the Pays de Haguenau.

Useful information : Circuit des Collines, 7,2 km, red ring markings (not to be confused with the solid red circle). Access possible from the parking lot of the old station in Pfaffenhoffen (crossroads D419 and rue du Rail in Pfaffenhoffen): opposite the old station, go right, walk along the railway line and cross it. Discovery tour in Soufflenheim (Le Tour des Potiers): 12 kilometers from Haguenau

This tour is ideal for going to the meet artisans, discover their activity of a potter who endures through time and generations. They will send you their passion and their know-how. We quickly let ourselves be charmed by this pretty town and this route to be done independently, using a map and an itinerary (in the form of a treasure hunt for children).
