Christmas workshops, for young and old!
Olfactory workshops:
- Workshop at Airbeauty, the olfactory designer - November 27 and December 4 at 10:30 a.m. and 18:30 p.m. in Haguenau
To discover room fragrance in a different light, get started or deepen your knowledge, what could be better than an olfactory workshop? Lara and Germain will take you on a journey through the world of perfume: the olfactory tasting will revolve around floral, fruity, gourmet or even citrus notes... where the different fragrances will be presented. The products used are 100% anti-allergenic.

Ceramic workshop for children - November 29 at 14:30 p.m. at Safe Haven in Haguenau
Come discover ceramics and get in the gourmet Christmas mood by making a family of mannele (personalized with pattern and first name stamped) or a giant mannele with gingerbread-colored earth!
- Workshop - My enchanted luggage - December 9 at 10 a.m. at the Luggage Museum in Haguenau
Go on a visit to discover the museum's most beautiful luggage then create and decorate your own miniature suitcase to hang on your Christmas tree!
- Creative Christmas workshop for children - December 9 and 16 at 15:30 p.m. in Bischwiller
In the heart of the Christmas village of Bischwiller, the town offers young people aged 4 to 12 a workshop for creating Christmas decorations to hang on the tree (balls, men, socks).
- Christmas workshop: Make your 2024 calendar out of cut paper (adult) - December 23 at 15 p.m. in Val-de-Moder
This year, the Musée de l'Image Populaire in Val-de-Moder is offering a cutting workshop for adults. You will enjoy making a beautiful object to install in your home: a 2024 calendar!
Gourmet workshops:
- Workshop - My bottle of Kefir - November 29, December 6, 13 and 20 at 15 p.m. in Bischwiller
Explanation of kefir production and kefir bottling. You will leave with a few bottles to give for Christmas.
- Plant-based cooking workshop: festive meal - December 9 at 10 a.m. at the Association La Graine
In a friendly atmosphere, come and prepare a plant-based festive meal before sharing it with the other participants!
- Choco' Noël workshop - from December 13 to January 6, every Wednesday and Saturday at 11:15 a.m. and 15:15 p.m. at the Chocolaterie Stoffel in Haguenau
Chocolatey Enchantment for Christmas! Are you ready to dive into a gourmet and creative world? The ephemeral Christmas creation workshop promises you an unforgettable experience!
Sustainable and supportive Christmas
The City of Haguenau offers a program for a “ Sustainable and supportive Christmas » ! because Christmas is also a time for consume differently and adopt new small gestures for optimistic ecology daily.
Meet on the weekend of December 16 and 17 at the Halle aux Houblons (Salle de la Rôtisserie, access is via the square on the Grand Rue side, take the stairs on the right).
Saturday December 16 from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m.: Children's Municipal Council of the City of Haguenau is pleased to invite you to its sale of second hand toys and games, for the benefit ofSowers of stars association which supports sick children and their parents in the Hautepierre and Haguenau hospitals.
[COMPLETE] Saturday December 16 at 17 p.m. and 18 p.m.: Use your hands to make a gift staff ! Discover the art of ceramic with Valérie Wehinger: create, model, cook, glaze to ground yourself in the present moment and clear your head. L'atelier is adapted to parent/child duo !
Sunday December 17 at 14 p.m. and 15 p.m.: workshop furoshiki, Japanese ancestral art which consists of packing different objects in a square of traditional fabric tied in different ways. A ecological, original and aesthetic alternative to the use of gift wrap ! Each year in France we consume around 20 tonnes of gift paper.

Sunday 17 at 17:30 p.m.: Show « Lulu's fabulous night ". The star Capella, disoriented by the city lights, gets lost in the night and finds itself on earth. To find her constellation, she seeks help from Lulu, a curious and generous little girl. Together, they will get through the night and overcome their fears, thanks to encounters rich in emotions and surprises! Through this Christmas tale, the characters will take you on a nocturnal quest, punctuated by encounters with mischievous animals, towards greater respect and knowledge of the world around us. Marionnettes, Music courses and theater of objects animate this intimate and luminous show.
Advent guided tours, for everyone!
Even more than the rest of the year, Alsace is particularly rich in traditions during Advent, Christmas and New Year. Discover these unusual habits and customs as evening falls during a guided walk, in the magical decor of the lights of the Christmas Market.
This one-hour stroll continues in the cozy atmosphere of the Costume Room of the Alsatian Museum, for an exchange with the guide on these old Christmas traditions.

Treasure hunting for children and families!
Like every year during the Christmas market, the Alsace Tourist Offices have surprises in store for children.
In Haguenau, a new adventure awaits you! Set off through the illuminated streets of the city center, Christmas chalets and the city's cultural heritage. Thanks to the puzzles that punctuate this Christmas treasure hunt, you will find at the end of the game the name of a very tasty treasure from our region! A reward will be offered to you by the Tourist Office if you find the right answer!
Collect the notebook at the Pays de Haguenau Tourist Office between November 24 and January 6.
