Around the world in 6 days live from Haguenau!
This year again, the Hop Festival invites people to meet the cultures of the world and offers, for its 64rd edition a festive, rich and varied program to the rhythm of world dances and music.
We invite you to meet us for the 64th edition of the Hop Festival, the largest world music festival in the Grand Est. More than 50000 festival-goers, 500 artists, 120 hours of artistic programming…this is the festive moment not to be missed!
Enjoy diverse atmospheres in different locations of the Festival, such as dinner shows in the mythical Hops Market, unique experiences au Live Drama or alternatively current music concerts au World Bar. Congo, Mexico, Uzbekistan, India, France, Italy, Netherlands, Serbia, Slovakia, Guam Island...Do it world Tour with the ensembles from 5 continents.
Activities, shows, concerts… during these 6 days, the city of Haguenau lives to the rhythm of world music.
A grand finale: the grand closing parade brings together all the festival artists. Sunday, August 24 at 15 p.m. in downtown Haguenau (free access). Then find the artists on the 3 stages in the city center from 17 p.m.
At the Forum of Cultures :
folklore shows outdoors every day. Don't miss the opening of the festival with the parade, emblematic moment of the festival.

Young audience programming :
entertainment and shows for the youngest to do them discover the cultures of the world.

At the Hop Hall :
In this symbolic place of the festival, let you marvel for an evening by dinner shows (Bloosmusik concerts followed by a thematic dance show), in jovial and festive atmosphere.
Every evening from 18 p.m. - Free from Tuesday to Thursday evening, paying from Friday to Sunday.
At the World Bar :
Every evening, a style of music highlighted, this is the place for dance all night. 2 concerts of current music are linked together Dj set to continue the party. Every evening from 18pm - Free
Discovery, wonder and change of scenery, the Hop Festival is waiting for you to share a unique and friendly moment of festivity.
At the theatre :
Make the most of the 2 shows “From one world to another”, which will take you on a journey through beauty of dances and music. From Wednesday to Thursday at 20 p.m. - Paid
Exhibitions across the city
At the Customs room, the photographers of theThe GRAPh association offer a selection of best shots of the'2024 edition of the Hop Festival. A beautiful parenthesis which will allow you to reminisce the most beautiful moments of this edition.
Throughout the week, overhead pergolas will be arranged in all the city ! They present the achievements des festival partners :
- the Glycines Medical-Pedagogical Institute,
- the Roselière retirement home in Schweighouse-sur-Moder,
- the socio-cultural center of Langensand,
- the Robert Schuman and Les Pins socio-cultural centers
- the Picasso House of the Harthouse medical-social center
So set off to discover the folk costumes from different countries, all more colorful each other and immortalize so unique your visit to the Festival!

The festival village
Instead of friendliness, the Village offers the sale ofcrafts of the world by Emmaüs, Boutique du Monde, Association 986 Fatu Lau Matua, Alsace-Huicholes-Coras (Mexico), Brasserie Le Refuge, Brasserie du Sandhaas, and Brasserie Blüeme.
Tuesday to Thursday from 15 p.m. to 19 p.m., Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 20 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 19 p.m.
The world market
Place de la Décapole, a world market will take place during the weekend: crafts et put the world du Brazil, de Haiti, of the'Asia, du Mexico, de Madagascar or alternatively West Indies will be offered to festival-goers. You will also be able to enjoy short performances by the folk ensembles present during the week which will animate the market for your greatest pleasure! Change of scenery guaranteed!
Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 22 p.m., Sunday from 11 a.m. to 19 p.m.
A ball around the world
Get carried away on the dance floor at Culture Forum ! This year, it's the Latin group Sea, Sex'n'Son who will animate the Baila Salsa Social Club ! The Baila Salsa Social Club is a tropical salsa ball open to all, where the Latin music performed live meets dance in a festive and friendly spiritThe idea is to allow everyone to to surrender the time of one evening to the wild rhythms of salsa.
