Like every summer, the Tourist Office, in partnership with the History Society and its enthusiasts, offers to visitors to discover the city through various themes with obviously adapted measures so that these visits take place in the best possible conditions! Maddy, Marie-Antoinette, Astride, Marthe, and Marcel members of the Historical Society, will thus offer you commented walks during the summer period along the streets of Haguenau. The opportunity also to discover some heritage treasures in the heart of the city, thanks to the explanations of these enthusiasts.

Unusual City Tour : A discovery based on the names of the streets of Haguenau, Wednesday July 7 at 18 p.m.

City tour : The historic center of Haguenau is revealed during a guided tour. 900 years of history told in 1h30, Wednesday July 21 at 18 p.m.

Fun and guided walks for children with Athena and her game book, Wednesdays July 7, August 4 and 11 at 15 p.m.

Visit motionless in time : original visit which will take place only on the forecourt of the Church of St Georges, sanctuary of the 18th and 18th centuries, Wednesday August XNUMX at XNUMX p.m.

The bells of St Georges Church : come and listen to the history of the bells of St Georges Church, two of which celebrated their 750 years in 2018 and which are considered to be the oldest in Europe to still be active, Wednesday August 25 at 18 p.m.

At the Baggage Museum

Saturdays July 3 and August 7 at 15 p.m., the theatrical visits : When a television star and three of the world's leading specialists on the subject take over the Baggage Museum, the public will be amazed! The theater of the two axes of Schirrhein -Schirrhoffen takes the public with humor, at the heart of the “luggage secrets” program presented by Stéphane Bernache. Monique Valyse, academic expert, Augustine Leplis, trainer in luggage storage and Amandine de la Malle, fashion journalist, distill on this occasion their practical and dreamlike knowledge about trunks, marmots and suitcases. Visit included in the entrance fee to the museum.

 

Every Sunday at 15 p.m. ; guided tour : 200 pieces, exceptional pieces, unique pieces, unusual pieces, intriguing or innovative pieces. The new scenography finally allows you to find all the rich and abundant collection of Marie and Jean-Philippe Rolland. The museum offers a real immersion between luggage, adventures and discoveries, fast or long trips, between History and the history of men.
