Building dating from the end of the XNUMXth century, today the Tourist Office and the Alsatian Museum share this emblematic place in the pedestrian zone.
The museum has a fine collection of traditional costumes from northern Alsace, drum locks, old locks, as well as a set of popular imagery and under-glass paintings. The last level of the museum is reserved for the reconstruction of a traditional interior: the kitchen, the "stub" or living room, and a potter's workshop. On the building is an astronomical clock dating from 1904. It is a reproduction of an astrolabe, made for the town hall of Ulm (Germany) in 1581, by Isaac Habrecht, designer of the astronomical clock of the Cathedral of Strasbourg. The team of the Pays de Haguenau Tourist Office advises you, informs you, accompanies you in the preparation of your stay in Alsace and guides you through the territory.
