La Maison Maltese is your specialized Alsatian roaster. We produce malt coffee, an alternative to coffee made from the roasting of barley.
Naturally caffeine-free, sweet and delicious, malt coffee is prepared like coffee. You will find flavors of biscuits, cereals and nuts such as walnut or hazelnut. Its cup gives off a nose of toasted bread linked to roasted notes. It is a drink with digestive benefits thanks to its absence of acidity and its fiber and micronutrient contributions!
We roast barley malt from organic farming in Alsace to guarantee you unique flavors, in a local and ecological approach. Thanks to our artisanal know-how, we promote barley from our regions, and introduce you to another way of consuming.
