The Sandhaas Brewery

Created in 2022, the "Brasserie du Sandhaas" is what is more commonly called a neighborhood brasserie, which plays the card of authenticity, simplicity and tradition, while also offering original creations.
It takes its name from the nickname given to the inhabitants of Haguenau, the famous "hare of the sands", symbol of the city.
The modern and refined logo, and its vintage side represents the back of a hare with a cape with a hop pattern. The cape is like that of a knight and reminds us of a famous monument in the city, the “Tower of the Knights”.
Hops remind us that the city was a former stronghold and international in the negotiation of hops in the 19th century, hence the "Halle aux Houblons".
