Engwiller

This small village nestled on a hill, with its 500 inhabitants, is still very much anchored in Alsatian tradition, due to its half-timbered houses and its association of folk music and dance from Engwiller which animates the village. The church of Engwiller is an important building for the village; its stained glass windows produced in 1959 by Tristan Ruhlmann, painter and master glassmaker, represent different psalms from the Bible and color the interior of the church. Engwiller is a warm village which still lives through the various associations and its several annual events (Fête de la Musique, Concerts, Messti ...).
