Morschwiller is a traditional Alsatian village located 20 minutes from Strasbourg between Brumath and Pfaffenhoffen. It has 597 inhabitants and is nestled in the valleys of the Moder where it covers an area of 462 ha. Historically, the first mention of the village dates back to 771. It is an imperial then royal village of the bailiwick of Haguenau and there are places and monuments rich in history.

The Saint Ulrich Chapel, built by private individuals in 1832, is located along the “Landgraben” watercourse, but there is also the Saint Etienne church built in 1840 by Louis-Martin Zegowitz. It is on the hill at a place called "Les Acacias" that you will find the highest point in the territory of Haguenau offering a 360 degree view and allowing you to see the cathedral of Strasbourg or the Château de Lichtenberg. During a hike on our multiple paths, you will be able to discover our many martyrdoms scattered on our bench, all so different but so steeped in history.

Morschwiller is also a town with a large number of cultural or sports associations including basketball, badminton, horse riding, theatre, choir and many others who share the brand new Cultural and Sports Space. The town also includes a dozen farms (dairy farming, cereals, market gardening, etc.) but also offers a variety of local shops, craftsmen, restaurants and rural lodges.
