The Halle aux Houblons was built in 1867 by the architect Guntz and enlarged in 1881. It was to enable Haguenau to achieve the rank of leading international hops market. It has a metal structure and the cover is perforated by a glass roof. Today it hosts the market (Tuesdays and Friday mornings) and other events such as the dinner shows of the Hop Festival...
