  • The Wissembourg Gate - Emmanuel VIVERGE
The Wissembourg Gate is one of the remains of the old wall. Its first construction, the lower part of a gate in the city wall, dates back to the 14th century. Its current state dates back to a modernization dating from the 16th century. On its outward facing side, three gunboats overlook a small niche with a coat of arms.
