Bike tour to discover the Forêt d'Exception®

Escape by bike through varied landscapes, between stands of pines and oaks, to discover some of the riches of the Haguenau forest. You will walk through the heart of this forest, labeled Forêt d'Exception® and will be able, along the ride, to enjoy its bodies of water and be surprised by its legend and its heritage: from the Gründel ponds to the ornithological observatory, passing by the Gros-Chêne, the abbey church and the museum of Walbourg or even the Hundshof wash house, these are true jewels of the forest that await you...

Looking for a refreshing drink or lunch? The Gros-Chêne forest inn serves traditional Alsatian cuisine. Picnic tables are also available in Biblisheim, Surbourg, Betschdorf, and at the Gros-Chêne site. To extend your stay in the forest, you can spend the night at the Moulin lodge in Schwabwiller!
