Bike tour to discover the Forêt d'Exception®

Escape by bike through varied landscapes, between stands of pine and oak trees, to discover some of the riches of the Haguenau forest. You will walk through the heart of this forest, labeled Forest of Exception® in 2020 and will be able, throughout the walk, to enjoy its bodies of water and let yourself be surprised by its legend and its heritage: from the Gründel ponds to the observatory ornithological, passing by the Gros-Chêne, the abbey church and the Walbourg museum or even the Hundshof wash house, these are real jewels of the forest which await you...

Want to quench your thirst or have lunch? Make a gourmet detour to the La Poste restaurant in Schwabwiller, located halfway, or to the Gros-Chêne inn in the forest, both of which will offer traditional Alsatian cuisine. Picnic tables are also at your disposal in Biblisheim, Surbourg, Betschdorf and on the Gros-Chêne site.
