The Haguenau Theater is one of the 4 "Italian" theaters in Alsace. Built between 1842 and 1847 by the Parisian architect Charles Morin, 10 years before the railway came to town, it has a metallic structure hidden by a traditional facade in pink sandstone. With a capacity of 420 seats, the Haguenau Theater demonstrates a perfect harmony between the neo-classical spirit specific to this kind of structure and a contemporary approach synonymous with modernity and innovation.
