Location and access

  • Hotel Barth - OTP
The municipal architect Georges-Joseph Barth, who designed the Bourgeois Hospital, built and lived in this hotel. The windows are decorated with mascarons, that is to say sculpted heads. Those on the ground floor represent the four seasons. On the 1st floor, the balcony has rounded and curved angles. Its consoles are adorned with rockeries and flowers. Upstairs, on either side of the balcony, these masks represent two couples, a middle-class couple and a rural couple.
