Historical Museum

Built between 1900 and 1905 in a neo-renaissance style, the museum houses collections that bear witness to the history of the city and its nearby region from prehistory to modern times. A rich archaeological collection from the Bronze and Iron Ages tells us about a culture that flourished in the forest of Haguenau. It is completed by the Gallo-Roman period with exceptional objects such as the Roman legionnaire's helmet. Several rooms are devoted to the history of the city since its foundation in the XNUMXth century.
The museum also has a fine collection of Hannong earthenware, art nouveau and art deco glasses.
