The MAC (Maison des Associations et de la Culture) is a cultural relay which offers shows of all aesthetics each season: theatre, music, circus, humour, dance, young audiences, as well as a cinema program on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Claude Vigée Cultural Center in Bischwiller.
To promote access to culture for all, the MAC offers students in the area an artistic education course around attendance at shows, artistic practice workshops and meetings with artists. It also has the mission of helping companies through creation residencies.
With its years of experience, this cultural relay is seen as an essential player in the local and regional cultural milieu. It is thus part of a set of artistic networks developing an important and active cultural offer such as the Scènes du Nord-Alsace network, which organizes the Décadanse festival each year in January, or the Jazzdor Festival.
