Affranchies is an emotional and sensory journey that questions the public on the image of the feminine that no longer wants to live locked in the codes that society imposes on it. For her first show, choreographer Amalia Salle invites five dancers on stage to explore a hybrid and moving writing between hip hop dance and contemporary dance. The two styles dialogue in a constant and sensitive back-and-forth to offer spectators a palette of deeply human feelings: joy, irony, courage, subversion.

Music plays an essential role in this proposal. From the poetic sweetness of Vivaldi's Four Seasons (and its recomposition by Max Richter) to the electro force of LCD Soundsystem, it becomes a pulse of energy that allows us to explore human nature and its ardent desire for emancipation. A real favorite not to be missed!
