On the edge of the void / Cie Manie

A show that left its mark on the Avignon Off festival during its run, Au bord du vide questions us about the passage of time. On stage, three comedian-circus performers are brought together to play three generations of the same person: the young one is a fiery acrobat-juggler who can hardly stay still; the adult twirls in a Cyr wheel, this large metal circle, like a frantic compass; the old one is a philosopher and tightrope-walking clown who wants to prove that he is still capable of taking risks and facing the void.

Navigating elegantly between emotion and humor, the show immerses us in a surreal generational journey where formal strangeness leads the spectator to reflect on the profound meaning of our life.
