  • Ensemble Tumbleweeds in concert - DR
Created in 2021 and placed under the artistic direction of Claire-Ombeline Muhlmeyer (recorder) and Pernelle Marzorati (harp), Tumbleweeds is a young early music ensemble made up of former students of the Conservatoires Supérieurs Nationaux de Musique et de Danse de Lyon and the Schola Cantorum de Bâle (Switzerland). Accompanied by Louise Acabo on the harpsichord and Marieke Bouche on the violin, the four musicians offer an eclectic repertoire that can range from baroque music to an aesthetic such as jazz.

For this program performed in the magnificent setting of the Protestant church of Bischwiller, the ensemble offers us a journey through 17th century Italy, from Veneto to Emilia-Romagna, and its many talented composers who traveled through this era: Girolamo Frescobaldi, Maurizio Cazzati, Giovanni Legrenzi, Biagio Marini, …
