Louis is a slightly chubby boy, not really the type that girls like. In the orphanage where he grew up, he was the bully of the other children. But in Louis' life, there is a shining star: it is Clara, the elephant tamer of the Marcos circus. Each time the big top is set up in town, the little boy's heart lights up. Over the years and reunions, Clara becomes his confidante, his friend, his lover. In love, they will experience happy and carefree days. But happiness doesn't last forever...

The softness of the line, the colorful world of the circus, all the aesthetics of Nicolas Antona and Nina Jacqmin's comic strip are faithfully reproduced on stage, as if coming straight from the pages of the album. Combining theater and puppets, the show offers a third dimension to this tender and sad story, a little gem of simplicity which pays homage to the complexity of feelings.
