As the holidays approach, the Musée de l'Image Populaire delves into Alsatian winter traditions through a selection of old, moving, and colorful images. Each year, the public can rediscover familiar Christmas figures as they appear on gingerbread images, greeting cards, illustrated calendars, and in representations of the Nativity. True witnesses to a collective imagination, these images recount in their own way the gestures of offering, popular beliefs, and family rituals linked to the Advent and Christmas periods.
