The Haguenau Tourist Office is taking advantage of the summer to introduce locals and visitors to the region's unusual attractions through a unique program of tours. Whether you're passionate about culture, nature, gastronomy, or simply curious, there's something for everyone!
In Bischwiller, a stroll takes on a poetic quality with the Poets' Trail, or "Dìchterwaj" in Alsatian. Through this route, the town aims to showcase the regional language, Alsatian literature, and the natural surroundings of the town.
The guided tour is led by Sylvie Reff-Stern, author and creator of the trail. She accompanies you on this stroll punctuated by readings, stories, and discussions. The Dìchterwaj thus offers a simple and accessible way to explore Bischwiller, allowing poetry to engage in a dialogue with the places and local history.
The path winds through verdant landscapes, inviting visitors to discover the region in a way that is both cultural and sensory. Along the way, recently redesigned panels highlight texts by Alsatian authors, relating to the history and identity of the town.
