Christmas market stalls

The chalets at the Haguenau Christmas market are open every day from November 21st to December 30th, 2025 (except December 25th): Mondays from 14 pm to 19 pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 10 am to 19 pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 20 pm. Special opening hours: November 21st from 16 pm to 20 pm, December 24th from 10 am to 16 pm, and December 26th from 14 pm to 20 pm.

Haguenau, located just 20 minutes from Strasbourg, invites you to experience an authentic and friendly Alsatian Christmas! Far from the hustle and bustle of big cities, the city of Barbarossa invites you to step into a world of customs and know-how.

Around sixty enchanting and authentic Christmas chalets spread across several town squares, a town centre adorned with a thousand colours, tempting smells, a magical atmosphere and decor: Christmas in Haguenau has all the ingredients of an Alsatian Christmas, with the added charm of a preserved, friendly and family-friendly destination! The only Christmas market in northern Alsace, open every day for five weeks (except 25/12), the exhibitors of the Haguenau Christmas chalets welcome you: local and artisanal products, Christmas decorations, gift ideas and lots of seasonal treats...

For five weeks, activities, exhibitions, concerts, tales and meetings with legendary characters will allow visitors to enjoy a good mulled wine... Or even to taste a "dampfnudel", a specialty of northern Alsace that the locals particularly appreciate. ! Children, for their part, will be delighted by the magnificent 1900 carousel which will take pride of place on the Place de la République and which will take them on various wooden animals, horses, donkeys, lions and even a beautiful stork.
