  • Lucie Fischer and Yiheng Wang - With AJAM - DR
Here are two instruments that are completely opposite! This is what interests Lucie Fischer and Yiheng Wang. Their project? Understanding the flute and the piano in their specificities, considering them as two very distinct solo entities, exploring the furrow of their differences to create a new object, the duo.

Both students at the CNSMDP, the two musicians have formed a duo for two years. Originally from Alsace, Lucie Fischer studied there with Philippe Bernold. Winner of the Clara Haskill competition in 2021, Yiheng Wang is currently in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel of Belgium. In a big gap between Rameau and Martinu, the few references from the chamber repertoire chosen by the two musicians demonstrate to us with panache the beauty of such a duo.

In the programme :
– Sonata No. 1 for flute and piano, Bohuslav Martinu
– Sonata Appassionata, op. 140, Sigfrid Karg-Elert
– Gavotte and six Doubles for solo harpsichord, Jean-Philippe Rameau
– Sonata for flute and piano, Serge Prokofiev
