Alongside him, you will discover more than fifty years of creation through works from her studio collection, many of which are being presented to the public for the first time. Luc Wagner will share memories, anecdotes, and personal insights, offering a unique perspective on his mother's artistic journey, from her beginnings at the École des Arts Décoratifs to her work for the Barabli stage, including her illustrations, watercolors, and artistic explorations.
This visit will provide a better understanding of Inès Wagner's creative process, her view of Alsace, costume, faces and traditions, as well as the different stages of her career presented in the exhibition's journey.
This encounter offers an intimate, vivid and profoundly human perspective on the work of a major artist, between family memory and Alsatian artistic history.
This workshop is offered as part of the exhibition "Watercolors by Inès Wagner. Faces and costumes in transparency – from April 11 to November 8, 2026"
