Michèle Deichtmann is an autodidact who has always been motivated by the desire to create and who has developed a rich amateur artistic practice. Born in Alsace, she has lived since childhood in Mundolsheim where she settled down and started a family.

She has been interested in many artistic disciplines since her youngest years. It was his grandmother's Singer sewing machine that first gave him the desire to sew, giving birth to rag dolls, but also to quilts and textile art creations. Whether it's modelling, collage, gardening, sewing or painting, Michèle Deichtmann fires up any material. From his multiple interests came creations in jewellery, ceramics but also painted furniture or pastel paper supports.
