Anna Politkovskaya, a Russian journalist, covers the war in Chechnya and denounces the atrocities committed. A human rights activist, she is disruptive and talks too much. A tireless worker, she is convinced that individual civic courage will ultimately overcome the despotic state. On October 7, 2006, she was found murdered in the stairwell of her apartment building in Moscow.

The show traces her extraordinary destiny and offers us the portrait of a contemporary heroine. Faced with the desire of certain countries to control information and silence those who speak out against official propaganda, this powerful, committed and implacably lucid text reminds us of the absolute and uncompromising necessity of freedom of the press and allows for a profound reflection on democracy. Femme non-rééducable recounts six years of notes, articles, interviews... experienced with the need to inform by Anna Politkovskaya.
