The Garden Space, offered by the Maison des Associations de Haguenau and the Parks, Gardens and Cemeteries service of the City of Haguenau, has become over the years the spring meeting of flower and plant lovers which brings together plant professionals (horticulturists , nurserymen, landscapers, green space managers, florists, etc.) and gardening enthusiasts.

A special event which allows the public to celebrate the awakening of nature but also to meet the best specialists in the plant sector.

Meet the professionals:
Throughout the day, meet around thirty professionals. They will be on hand to advise you on planting, pruning and treating your plants. Share their passion and secrets with wise gardeners. Buy seedlings, plants, flowers, seedlings, vegetables and shrubs that will enhance your outdoor spaces. You will also find something to decorate and dress your flowerbeds and gardens.

Discover the know-how of municipal services:
The Parks, Gardens and Cemeteries department of the City of Haguenau will present potting workshops, wood carvings with a chainsaw, the manufacture of pallet furniture, seedling and cutting workshops and even activities for children.

This year, you will also find workshops for children creating insect hotels at 11 a.m., 14:30 p.m. and 16:30 p.m. (registration required on Hello Asso).

The Household Waste Service will present the new collection points, recently installed, for sorting food waste.

Find all our partners:
La Maison du Compost, the Alsatian association providing development assistance and support for individual or shared local composting initiatives. It acts on an ecological and economic level by reducing waste at source, by training individuals and specialized people. You will therefore have the opportunity to know everything about composting: the materials, the process, the “little creatures”, the turning, the calendar, the equipment…

A duck fishing event will also be offered by Maxi Flash with many prizes to be won!

For the first time, the La Marge bookstore will be present with a vast selection of books on gardening, garden planning and design, plants, nature, etc.

Don't also miss the Poultry Society of Haguenau and Surroundings which brings together amateur backyard breeders in the region. Passionate about purebred animals, the breeders of the association will promote small backyard breeding through an exhibition/sale, and will be happy to advise you on possible future outdoor arrangements.
